Window Media Player not working!!

I'm using O2 XDA. when i click on the media player it tried to popped up but failed. What can i do to fix it?

i am not sure what the problem is, but if u have any media files on a memory cards remove the card and do a soft reset and try to load it without it and also try it with wifi off, sometimes, if u have shared files on a pc over wifi it tries to load them on startup....also best thing to do is use tcpmp player, much more better. no major problems and its free.

no i never use memory card and i don't use wifi either. i have done soft resets before but didn't work. how??
besides, is there a software that can play mp3, wma, wmv,avi as well as wav?

tcpmp player is the all in one player...give it a go.

You mean Windows Media Player actually WORKED for you at one point in time? INCREDIBLE.

With Windows Mobile 6, Microsoft either needs to improve or expunge Windows Media Player. It lacks many, many very important features. It is simply a waste of ROM space.

I haven't tried The Core Media Player myself, I've been using Pocket Player 3.1, and it works exceptionally well for mp3's, but it isn't much of a video viewer.
