I have to get onto my wives T-Mobile plan. I don't want to go to a Phone/PDA in one device but it seems I have no choice.

What are the better of the PDA/Phone devices to look at that work with T-Mobile?

I currently use an HP 2215 which I love and had given thought about an Axim for VGA screen. I really think something with a keyboard integrated would be nice but I DON'T want any square screen device. Something with WM 5.0 vrs the 2003 I have been using would be nice to.

Suggestions as I really don't know what is equivelent to whats on the T-Mobile site.

Size isn't that much of a problem since I already carry around the 2215 everywhere.

Your only real option for something that's officially carried would be the T-Mobile MDA. Other than that, and quad-band GSM device would work with T-Mo.

Just to be clear, though, a device from any source other than T-Mobile might have to be unlocked before it could work with their SIM card.

... assuming you want to stay with the Pocket PC. Otherwise, the T-Mobile Dash is a great little device as well, and in my opinion, the best WM device T-Mobile offers right now.

I do second the unlock option, but do keep in mind that if you go this route you'll probably be spending a bit more money -- so that option really depends on your budget.

I agree w/ the person who sd the MDA is the best choice on T-mo for people that need a ppc phone.

I have been kicking around this idea of getting Cingular's 8525 unlocked and using it on T-mo. My concerns is if I would be able to get all of my email, internet access, and txt/media messages to work with an 8525 on T-mo's network!

Any suggestions??
