Hi friends,

I am from Brazil and this is my first post in this forum. Please, help me in my difficult mission to choose a PDA-Phone.

I know that to make a choice between the TOP RATED PDA-Phones is very difficult and subjective. Each equipment possesss unique characteristics and these different characteristics hardly will please all experts in the subject.

Based on the following SHORT LIST of PDA-PHONES, I would like to know which device would be preferred for the majority of the specialists of this forum:

1) QTEK 9600 (HTC TyTN)
2) E-TEN G500+
3) HTC P3600
4) E-TEN M600+
5) MIO A701
6) HP IPAQ RW6828
7) I-MATE JASJAR

Second question, what would be the best choice considering the following factors:
1- Performance (Average of all aspects)
2- Best screen resolution
3- Integrated GPS receiver
4- Integrated FM Radio receiver
5- overall features

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Hugo

I can't address all of your points, but I do have a few thoughts:

-- FM tuners are rare in PocketPCs
-- Built-in GPS is nice, but with the availability and ease of use of Bluetooth GPS units, I wouldn't forego an otherwise appealing device just because it lacks GPS
-- I think you'll find the JASJAR fairly bulky and disappointing compared to the others available, at least I did.
-- Ask as many questions as you like here; folks in this forum love to help.

Good luck!

Hi Brad Adrian,

Thank you very much. What do you think about ETEN X500? Is it a good challenger for the HTC TyTN?

Which of them do you prefer? Why?

Well i personally think u should go with the ETEN X 500 but be warned that there is no GPS software with it ...u'll have to buy that additionally or u could wait for the Asus P535....its definitely worth a look and there is nothing like it if they unlock the GPS chipset in the HTC 3600.... just wait and watch 0X
