Thanks, I can't wait for the review :) I wonder if the PTT button can be remapped via that utility from XDA-Developers?


Edit: Will any 8525 subsidy require adding a Cingular PDA/Data Connect service ($40-45/month for unlimited usage) to your voice plan? Or can you stick with a MEdia Net bundle (ie. MEdia Max unlimited data as low as $20/month)?

If you do want to tether the 8525 to your laptop once in awhile, would you need to add the more expensive Laptop Connect service ($60/month for unlimited usage) to your voice plan? Or can you stick with PDA/Data Connect service?

I sincerely hope this will not have the infamous screen allignment proble. In case of my Jasjam I feel so cheated by HTC and I-Mate

I can tell you in using the device for my review that I have not had any screen alignment issues.

The screen alignment issue has been fixed with the current batch of Hermes, it really only affected a few units in the first production runs.
