I thought i had things covered when i bought an Innopocket magnesium case for my Blue Angel, but i failed to take into account the plastic belt clip. Has anybody come across either a metal or extremely heavy duty belt clip that will fit the tab on the Innopocket and Rhinoskins cases? I am almost at my wit's end, as i am on my sixth plastic clip...

I basically gave up with belt clips, so I put my PDA (with case on) in a belt pouch. I don't know if this will fit your case socket, but I've tried and liked Covertec's belt clip (http://www.covertecstore.com/search/fiche.asp?menu=pda&ref_produit=WIPS) solution - it's heavy duty. Krusell (http://www.krusell.se/subCategories.php?grupp=6) make a bunch of stuff that are similar.

I wish somebody would craft those clips in aluminum or something, but barring that, I'll look into those. Thanks.

I've used the Covertec clip on three different cases (only one of which was a Covertec) - of course YMMV. Good luck!

You may have to end up fashioning some form of the "old" belt clip for your case. It won't swivel, but should be pretty strond and reliable. I've seen them in craft and leather-making stores, and you should be able to rivet or bolt it to your magnesium case.

Just a thought.
