View Full Version : connecting to the internet through a Pix firewall?

I can connect to our WAP at work but in order to access the internet I have to go through a Pix firewall. Running IE on a desktop, the firewall prompts you for ID and password; with PIE on my X50v, nothing happens so it appears that PIE is just not working. Any suggestions for getting past this roadblock?

How is the password page generated? Is it a popup, script generated or database generated? I'd suggest maybe trying an alternative browser like Opera or Netfront - PIE support for Javascripts is really poor.

It appears to be a pop-up. I will take a look at alternatives to PIE.
