:boohoo: I download it, opent the zip file and then it says it's an invalid installation file.

Anyone been successful?

You need to run the exe that's in the zip file on the desktop end. ;)

One more thing:

I downloaded 1-Calc Lite yesterday but just noticed this statement on the site:

Registration required. Connectivity charges may apply. Limited time offer. Available in the US only

I would like to challenge that last part. ;)

Same problem as scmidlap: Both downloads will not install ('invalid setup'). Running setup.exe from desktop bombs and trying to unpack cab on device also bombs ('not a valid cab file')

I figured it out.

Install Winrar. Right click the .exe file and select Extract here.
It will create .ini,.cab, and a setup.exe files. Keep them all in the same folder and drag the folder to your program files folder on your pda. Run the .cab file and it should install and show up in games in your programs menu. Cool program brings me back to the early 80's.
It's a little hard to shoot with the center button with big fingers.

I was able to install both Invaders and the calculator from desktop to my Treo 700wx without incident. I was a little annoyed, however, to find that the calculator did not adjust to the 240 x 240 screen. The bottom two rows of buttons are hidden, which can severely impact the functionality.... It didn't help my mood that the download was located right next to a Treo 700wx ad......

Invaders screen shows nice on 240x240 but the button coordinates seem to be incorrectly processed. I press options on main screen and get the exit button. Bummer.

Where do you get Winrar? I unziped teh space invader zip file, transferred all three files to my Axim, fired the .cab file in the axim and it still doesn't work. :bad-words:

Where do you get Winrar?

There's a free Pocket PC version, if you're interested.

I rather like IZArc (http://www.izarc.org/) for zip and rar management - it can even open ISO and BIN files. It's freeware to boot, though there isn't a PPC port.
