She mentioned a RRP of around $1000 USD or $1500 AUD, though if you shop around, you can certainly find it for two-thirds of that price.

Yes, 3 have it for $959 without contract.

I really want to get this device but I've been reading a lot of 'horror stories' about screen alignment and keyboard issues. People are recommending to get the newer batches as these are supposedly fixed [there is also a mod floating around to fix the screen alignment issue].

Ok found the link for the SA issue mod it is http://forum.palmislife.com/viewthread.php?tid=69825&amp;highlight= I'm still unsure if I should get one... :( I will decide when I see/play with one, off to HKG tomorrow hopefully I can spot a nice unit without issues hehe
