Hi,

Back up battery died in my O2 Xda ii and I lost all my data entirely.
Severely p__ed off with that I wanted to replace it like any mortal.

Well I found that it is inaccesable without pulling the whole thing apart AND its also hard wired to the board. Also the battery ML2016 Rechargable ofcourse you cant just go and buy off the shelf. Well finally got my hands on ten of them and rewired one with a soldering iron. Plus plus and all that.

Wondering if my machine will ever start again and are there any tricks or pointers or engineers hacks that I should know to get it to switch on again.

Oh and if anyone needs a few of those batteries drop me a line...
Cheers
Chris
