I've had a Pocket PC Phone for the last year and have used it with T-Mobile the entire time. Since first getting my phone, I've used to to surf the web through T-Mobile, but have thought I was doing it while riding their T-Zones signal (I have the T-MobileWeb for $6, not any of the $20 and up plans). But it turns out my brother, who recently had the T-Zones disconnected, can still access wap websites through the browser on his non-Pocket PC phone.
So the question here, is do I really need anything else on my account to ride the signal for T-Mobile and access various web sites, or should I continue to keep the $6 Web plan? I'm afraid of cancelling it, finding out it doesn't work, and then when I try to get it back they tell me that it now costs $20 a month.
And I do have all my prox settings and HTTP settings set up properly and what not, I just want to confirm whether it's a requirement to have T-Zones or not (or whatever they're calling it these days).
