I am looking for the best free weather plug-in for WM5. I used to have a great one but now they charge for it. What I liked about the old one was that it would automatically update whenever you synced it or at whatever interval you choose. Does anyone have anything to recommend?

I haven't really tested any of these freeware weather apps, but there are several you might take for a spin at:
www.freewareppc.com
Because they're scattered through several categories, it's easiest to go to the page above and search for the keyword "weather."
I know you're looking for something that's free, but there are several weather add-ins out there that cost between $10 and $20 that offer exceptional quality and versatility. I personally like the ones that include a variety of skins and/or icons so I can personalize them as much as possible.

I use SBSH Pocketweather, had to pay a little for the app, but the updates are free as well as the service.
Can have a couple of locations to compare (nice feature for me), can see what the weather is like around you from different METAR stations. Has forecasts, Sunrise and Sunset times for your location, phase of the moon (wish it had moonrise times), 7 day forecast on the Today screen.
Easy to use as well.

It looks great, although I am really looking for a free one. Preferably one that uses the Weather Channel for the feed!

Tonaya has a free weather plug-in:

best thing to do is try out the trial versions of
SPB weather
SBSH pocketweather
but this link that someone else posted seem good enough for FREE.
