The Stowaway Sierra portable keyboard includes five rows and full-size keys, providing the closest replication of a traditional desktop keyboard available on the market. Stowaway Sierra is the latest addition to Mobility Electronics' Think Outside(R) family of portable keyboards. Having shipped more than three million portable keyboards since 2000, Think Outside is the market leader in this growing category of mobile accessories. "The Stowaway Sierra is the ideal tool for enhancing the productivity of a smartphone," said Charles Mollo, CEO of Mobility Electronics. "With a fifth row dedicated to numeric keys, the Stowaway Sierra significantly improves the ease of data entry and utilizing Windows-based key combinations and features. Most importantly, the Stowaway Sierra folds into a compact size for easy storage. We believe the Stowaway Sierra extends our leadership position in portable keyboards and will allow us to further capitalize on the proliferation of smartphones and other handheld computing devices.""

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find an image of this new keyboard - and most PR people don't attach them to the press releases they send out. At any rate, the keyboard is similar to past Stowaway releases, with full-sized 19mm-sized keys. Folded up, it's 5.0 x 3.5 x .9 inches in size. The press release mentions that there are over the air (OTA) driver installs available via the Think Outside Web site - a mobile-friendly Web site with CAB file installs perhaps? The keyboard will sell for $129 USD, though there's no word on exactly when it will be available.

UPDATE: Here are some pics!<!>

Finally! A full row of numeric keys! I realize that compact size has been the goal for these folding keyboards all along, but I'll gladly accept a slightly less-compact size if it means I don't have to use a Fn key for inputting numbers.

Good call (although I don't think I can justify buying yet ANOTHER folding keyboard just yet).
