Hello there! :)
You shall remember me for my problem with the ASYNC Passthrough to my Jornada 545.

I just acquired yesterday a HP iPaq RX1950 Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium (by the way, passthrough works well with this!), and I would like to transfer my files from my Jornada Pocket PC. When I try to pass files from my iPaq to Jornada, iPaq shows error while connecting and Jornada only shows "Connecting to Mobile_5". Also, I want to transfer some files from Jornada to iPaq, but there's NO shortcut for IR Receiving on iPaq. Am I clear with this?

What can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Actually there is. Go to Start->Settings->Connections tab->Beam. Make sure the "Receive all incoming beams" box is ticked.

I have it ticked, but it doesn't work... :( Is there something else I can do?

On my ancient hp Jornada 568 you can start Infrared Receive manually by doing:

Start > Programs > Infrared Receive

Unfortunately what you want can NOT be done. WM5 and PPC2k can NOT communicate in any way over infrared. I've just posted a ful story on all these questions to http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=51520 - I really recommend it if you're still transferring stuff from your old Jornada
