Return of the Freeware Applications
When we updated our web site last month, we removed several older applications that seemed to have very little interest to our customers. Among those applications, were CheckNotifications, ClearNotify, and Tricorder. All were freeware applications, with the first two mentioned used to correct a bug in the original Pocket PC 2003 OS. Since we assumed that most users were using newer devices running the 2003 SE OS and Windows Mobile 5 OS, these applications were now obsolete. In addition, the Tricorder application (which is a simple do-nothing program) was so basic and simple that we decided to remove it also.
Well, since the removal of these applications, we've been getting several emails asking for their return. Apparently, other web sites and discussion groups have links to these applications, so we decided to place them back on our web site for download.
In case you're interested, below the links to those specific freeware applications:
CheckNotifications and ClearNotify (http://www.scarybearsoftware.com/cn_overview.html)
Tricorder (http://www.scarybearsoftware.com/tc_overview.html)
Thanks for everyone's support, and we hope you find these applications useful.
