The subject of this post pretty much says it all. I have a 1gb Mini-SD card for both my PPC and SP. I can fit quite a large amount of music on it, but found that if I have WMP transcode all my music to 128kb, I can fit tons more, considering most of my music is encoded at much higher bitrates.
However, it seems that whenever I have WMP transcode music to lower bitrates during the sync process, the music plays like it's coming off a record player running at like 1/4 speed. I've tried various bitrates, but the outcome is always the same.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
