Why did Avantgo disable autosync on the beta version?

It was very convenient before when it autosync'd when you activesync'd your pda, but now you have to do it manually with the beta version. However, since the beta version will page down as opposed to scroll down, i prefer the beta version, but since it doesn't download automatically it is a pain in the butt. are they going to keep it this way?

I used to really like AvantGo for making sure I always had my daily dose of reading available, but these changes forced me to stop using it. It's now just easier to create my own offline channels, although I did like how AvantGo usually rendered their sites well for Pocket PCs.
