Among the many changes, you'll find improved performance in Windows Mobile 5.0, individual button mapping functionality in both portrait and landscape display modes, and improved macro recording capabilities. Head over to our affiliate software store for a free trial version. The full version is priced at $9.95.

I am wondering if this is a problem specific to the device (HTC Wizard) or the OS (Windows Mobile 5)... but the Macro recorder function is completely broken. As soon as you go into recording mode, the screen taps go haywire as if the screen calibration is lost. A soft reset restores the PPC to a sane state.

I came across your review, so I was wondering if you had a chance to try it out on WM5, and if it was successful.

Also, one more question: the product blurb states that it supports the mapping of soft keys in WM5. Did you have a chance to try that? On my WM5 device, I only see Buttons 1-5, nothing about soft keys.

Thanks,

-Kal.
