Will the 3950 work with an XDA I/II cradle? I'm away from home and its the only thing i have access to. Both are HTC devices.

No, it will not. I tried it on my O2 XDA and O2 XDA IIs and none of it is compatible with the iPaq lines. I had to buy new retractable sync for just the iPaq since I was using HTC PDA phone all this time. In fact, at one time, i tried it on the cradle and it hard reset my O2 XDA IIs.
