Afternoon All,
I took delivery of an Orange M600 yesterday and very nice it is too. I wanted something to replace my V3 and Ipaq 2210 but have so far been a little frustrated.
Firstly the speed is not what I was expecting, it is way slower than my 2210, but this might be one of the issues that I am covering below.
My biggest issue is that after I sync the M600 for the first time, and try to access the 'Phone Settings' menu under Settings, System. I click on the icon and the 'OK' symbol top right jitters as if a window is opening and then nearly a minute later the 'Phone Settings' window comes up, with the drop downs blank (before AS they are there and I can configure fine). Then it appears as if the phone is frozen in this pane as I have to click the 'OK' button several times to return to the Settings screen.
In addition, the M600 was fast enough for me before I conducted my first sync, after that it slows down very noticeably - too much in fact. There is currently no third party software loaded, I have done 4 hard rests now and thought 'My Docs' or third party software might be causing the issue.
I have AS 4.1.0 (Build 4841), Windows Build is 5.1.195 (14847.2.0.0) and have 44MB of free memory.
Any ideas what might be the matter before I spend ages on the phone to Orange?
Thanks
