D-Link DWL-G730AP Settings

Hi,

Ive just purchased a D-Link DWL-G730AP for use with my ipaq 4700 and a hotel ethernet connection.

I have to get it configured prior to my departure and I would like to know how people have got it configured under the LAN and DHCP settings.

Basically I would like to have it in a dynamic mode where my ipaq automatically obtains an ip and dns addresses and I don’t have to enter any settings.

Should I have the LAN set to dynamic and the DHCP set to disabled for the unit to work in AP mode?

DHCP should be enabled - that's the service that actually dishes out the IPs.
