http://www.vajacases.com/affiliate&ID=100

One thing that's great about having a mainstream device like the Treo 700w is the case support for it. Vaja has been aggressively adding new Treo cases and modifications to their lineup. Their newest one is the additional option for a "Visor Cover" to their T77 full-protection case. What is a Visor Cover? A picture tells all:

This is such a simple, yet useful idea, that I smacked myself in the forehead when I saw it. For those of you who like full protection on your Treo but don't want to have to flip the case open just to see who's calling, this seems like a natural solution. To get it, find the T77 (it's a little buried on their yet-again updated website: go to Smartphone => Palm => Treo 700w/700p => Treo 700w/700p, and pick the T77 from the resulting page) and customize it; it's an option near the bottom of the customizations. Let's hope Vaja can do this for some of their other cases, too! [Affiliate link]

Is there some clear material covering the touchscreen? Because if there isn't, it seems like you are leaving open the most fragile part of a PDA - the part you'd most like to protect, the screen.

Yup, there is -- there's a pic on the site with the cover flipped down, and it's pretty clear there's plastic. Wouldn't be much of a "cover" otherwise. ;)

I loved the old Treo styles, the 270 and 300 models, that had the hard plastic clear cover. A simple but effective idea.

That has to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen. :|

That has to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen. :|I have to agree. It makes the Treo look like a veritable tank. :?

I think it's the angle, honestly. Having handled quite a few Vaja cases, they all look pretty good. Admittedly, I wouldn't get that color.
