I recently purchased an unlocked HP iPaq hw6915 via eBay for use on Cingular (in the US).

It comes with TomTom Navigation software preinstalled. With it you get one free map, which I've downloaded. I also went to TomTom's website to pay for and download an additional map. During that process, you are asked what version of TomTom you are running.

Under "PDA Pocket PC" the two relevant choices are:
Navigator 5
and
Navigator HP 6500 GPS Navigation

Does anyone know for the purposes of downloading maps, which software version comes on the HP? I'm tempted to select the HP 6500 (which is the "old" version of this phone), but since it runs WM 2003 and the 6900 series runs WM 5.0, I'm hesitant to make that assumption.

Thanks...

I'm not very familiar with the specifics of Tom-Tom software. On the application menus somewhere, is there a choice called "About?" That page usually lists software versions.
