People, I am thinking of buying a TyTn or gSmart. In your humble opinion which of these two phones is better?

The TyTN is the better phone and PDA. I don't even like the looks of the other one...

I would also prefer the TyTN. IMO hands down the TyTN looks much much better. It also has a keyboard and quad-band (the gsmart has tri-band) along with tri-band UMTS with HSDPA along with a scroll wheel . 8O

I'd go with the TyTN, purely because of the 3G connectivity and QWERTY keyboard. However, at the end of the day, it depends on what you want in a device. The TyTN has features the g-Smart doesn't, and vice versa. Perhaps you can tell us what you're looking for, and we can steer you in the right direction.

Well, as a lucky owner of O2's new Trion, I can say that I have absolutely no regrets about plunking down a large amount of money on this device since it can do practically everything! Once I get back to the States I'll be able to get a better feel about how the 3G service is, since the provider here in Iceland only does GPRS. The scroll wheel and OK button make using this phone awesome for one-handed usage, and the sheer multitude of input options make this a great e-mail/messenger machine!

Well, I will mainly use WLAN and I am not so interested in gSmart's TV function. However, they both have WLAN so I would like to know which of these two performs better. Also, Tytn has bigger screen but i think gSmart has better color depth. Anyways, if the TV function is the only advantage of the gSmart, I would preffer TyTn. What do you think?

Fom initial reports, the TyTn's wifi reception appears to be a bit weak, though nobody is sure if its a hardware problem or software.
