Hi, whens the new Windows Mobile going to come out?

No one knows for sure, but I wouldn't expect it in the immediate future. WM5 is still pretty young... is there something you're looking for that WM5 doesn't provide?

The next major update is called Crossbow, which is going to be essentially similar to WM5. It's currently slated for release to manufacturers late this year, with devices probably some time in the first half of next year.

After that, there's Photon, probably available some time in 2008. It's expected to be a major overhaul with large differences from previous OSes.

There's a semi-regular march of smaller OS updates, called AKUs. Currently the newest AKU is 2.2, I believe, and AKU 3 is somewhere in the pipe.

I wouldn't advise delaying a purchase waiting for the next OS, it's going to be awhile.
