I'm lookin for some free software to soup up my pocket PC if you've got any could you please help me and others looking for this kind of stuff, come on i mean who doesn't like free stuff.

Haven't personally used these but someone who seemed like he knew what he was doing over at Aximsite recommended these sites:

I''ve known several people who have used Tucows (may) also offer freeware, and they include ratings.

Sorry - it's actually in the windows mobile forum. I'm not sure to what extent it will apply to your PPC.

Skype 2.1 Beta - You can make free calls to any phone in Canada and the US for free, ontop of that its a great VoIP and IM client. You need at least a 400mhz processor and WM5.

Vieka vBar - Is a stripped down version of WISbar. It basically makes "X" actually close apps, with a small arrow to the left of the X pointing downwards, which brings a pulldown menu out from with you can close and switch apps. It is simple and excellent.

PocketNester .7 - Emulates NES beautifully, even on a 300mhz device.

Jason Fuller's Virtual Earth Mobile - Streams satellite images and maps from MSN Live! much like Google Earth, except its not 3d, just top down. Excellent little app if you want to look at the roof of your house.

Hitchhiker .4 Beta - WiFi finder. Turns on WiFi, shows you a list of avalible AP's, and tries each one for a connection until it is successful. Then, it gives you a box from which to select different apps. WEP and WPA compatible. Doesn't turn on wifi on an Axim x51v.

Thats what i use! Have fun pimpin out your PPC.
