I just purchased a UTStarComm XV6700 as well as a Jabra BT500 Bluetooth headset. When I push the call/answer button when music is playing the music will play through the headset for like 2 seconds and than stop. During that time the Voice Dialing software pops up and than stops.
Any advice to get this to work ????

That's working exactly the way it is supposed to. You push the call/answer button to make or answer a call, and obviously you want the music to stop.
The BT handsfree/headset profile is not intended to route device audio, but rather phone audio. That can be circumvented by some third party apps/hacks, but that can play havoc with your ability to answer a call while listenning to tunes.
Sooner or later we will get some more common support of A2DP and HS/HF profiles on PPC/PPCE/SP and the ability to listen to stereo and transfer to a phone call will work right. The headsets/headphones to do this already exist. The Jabra BT500 isn't one of them.

That is going to happen, and there is software out there that opens the bluetooth so that everything goes to the headset. I used this software, and it worked great, with one exception. Most of those are for non-phones, because phones with BT have a software for voice recognition. This means these programs open the voice dialing software you speak of, and when it does not get the voice promt, it will shut off this software. At least, that is what happened to me. It is too bad as there is some good software out there to get the BT to toggle on and off.
