The device is the Palm Lennon, news of which leaked out a few weeks ago. It is rumored to have UMTS, HSPDA, EDGE, a 1.3MP camera, and Windows Mobile 5 will already have MSFP included. No word yet on WiFi though.

Be sure to go to the Engadget article as it has a few more blury images.

That's pretty craptacular quality, even for a camera phone. Someone needs to give these surreptitious informants better cameras. ;)

Is it still WM5 as crippled by Palm? I got an HTC Wizard and paid that enormous contract breaking fee to Verizon because of that and the teeny little memory. Wonder if it's still Palm's idea of Windows. At least it won't be Verizon's.

At least get them a Canon with Image Stabilization! Heck WW2 spys did better with Minox cameras!

Actually I think the better explanation is that the Product Manager at Cingular wanted to make us thing these were leaked pictures when in fact this is yet another guerilla marketing campaign

I like the idea of a antenna less device but I have my doubts until some beta tests chime in with RF on this. The 700w is pretty good, I'm curious how Palm has improved the antenna while slimming the device at the same time.
