View Full Version : Bluetooth keyboards?

I'm thinking of getting a portable keyboard for my iPAQ 2210, using the PPC's Bluetooth facility for the first time. The Think Outside Bluetooth Stowaway Bluetooth Folding Keyboard for example. But I'm a bit confused. Googling, every photo I've found so far seems to show the keyboard physically connected to the PPC. I'd expect to be able to use it separately, i.e. maybe with the PPC in its cradle and the keyboard on my lap or whatever.
Can any existing user clarify this basic point for me please?

What you are seeing is a pocket pc leaning against the bluetooth keyboards 'stand'. The Think Outside keyboard has a removable 'stand' that can be used to hold your ppc. I prefer to remove it and use my Sena case flap to do the same trick and it is not subject to my hard typing.
I do recomend that keyboard. :rock on dude!:

Thanks Andy, understood.
I'd have thought advertisers woud have made a point of photographing such a separation, as it seems a significant selling point to me ;)
There's no inbuilt 'flap' on my iPAQ 2210, but I can stand it up using its Krusell leather case
How far away do you tend to use it when typing?
