Yes, all global HTC sites are now updated. However, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of South-East Asia, Middle Asia, and Africa get no love. Heck, they don't even have dedicated HTC sites. :( Rants aside, visit the HTC portal, select your region, and check out the company's new (and old) lean, green, calling machines.

I figured since they bought into dopod that they would let dopod handle the Asia Pacific [SEA, Australia, New Zealand, et al] and maybe even China. Wonder when the dopod site will have the new phones up... ATM only the Taiwan website has the CHT9000, I read in CNET Asia that the HTC Hermes [aka HTC TyTn] will be called the Dopod 838 Pro.

I read the Hermes was available in Singapore as both the HTC TyTyn and Dopod 838Pro - which is absolutely weird given HTC now owns Dopod.

As far as I've read, the HTC TyTn is available via parallel imports in SG. The dopod 838 pro is offered by Singapore's telco. I also read that there are some problems with the QWERTY keyboard [some letters] and BT. Maybe we should wait a bit more for HTC to release some ROM updates to fix these up. Here in Manila [Philippines] there is no news about the TyTn or 838pro at all. Am a bit apprehensive to get a dopod again as I noticed that they were always last to get ROM updates. The TyTn [via parallel import] on the other hand would mean I'd have some difficulty with warranty if there is a hardware defect.

Yup, a string of press releases were published yesterday. I'll be posting on them shortly. :)
