Idea: Email, SMS or ftp your coordinates

I don't know if something like this already exists, but I'm sure it would be a very simple application to create and would be awesome.

I would love to have a small app on my PPC that would simply Email my coordinates to someone every xx minutes. The Email could also contain a URL to the google map with my position.

It would really be awesome if something like this could support ftp, sms or even a way to pass the coords along to a web server.

I forgot what the service/program name is called but a while back, I saw news on the frontpage here that there was a service that tracks your location and posts it on the internet. Take a look in the frontpage archives to see if you can find it (or maybe someone else remembers the name).

That's pretty cool! I would like to give that a try just for the fun factor.

GPS Tuner kind of does this. It requires you to pay for the service and the application is pretty memory intensive.

Navio will let will work with A2B... also interesting, but not exactly what I'm looking for.

I will continue my search. I talked to a friend who is into hamm radio and he said they do this already. I wonder if someone has adapted something?
