View Full Version : Audiovox Maestro / playing WMP 9 video?

I'm planning on using my old Audiovox Maestro on a trip (so that my Axim doesn't get destroyed or stolen). I currently use it to listen to Internet audio and connect it to a stereo system. The battery is totally dead -- so I use it with an adaptor and backup/restore the RAM all the time.

It can not, though, play the VIDEO of WMP 9 encoded streams. Is there a way to upgrade WMP or install a third party app to play such streams?

Thanks

Windows Media Player Mobile upgrades are provided by the OEM via ROM updates, so you'll have to look at your manufacturer's web site for it (if available).

A good third-party application is TCPMP (http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/). Install it and see if it helps.

Thanks, but no dice...
