iPAQ USB to SERIAL ?!?!

Hi people, i need to use a serial cable on my iPAQ 1710 but i just have the USB syncronism cable. It´s hard to find this cable around here... could I use and USB-Serial adapter or any kind of modification on my cable!?

Hello,

You cannot adapt a serial port on a computer to connect to a USB peripheral. If you can't find an actual serial cable for the iPaq, unfortunately you are out of luck.

any way to change this USB cable to become a USB/Serial cable !??!

Because the hard part of making these cable is to find the iPAQ side conector... Could I still using these cable and add the serial cable together!??! Any topic or page with these scheme!??!
