Just a heads-up here for anyone who uses or is considering using Pocket Mindmap.
You might be aware that the program's version 1.3.2 has been in beta for... oh I don't know, seems like five years or so. Seriously, version 1.3.1 was released back in naught-four. The latest update has had several beta releases over the last few months but the company hasn't seemed to be pushing to release the update.
Well, a few weeks ago Mindjet Manager bought either the company or rights to the software (it's not too clear from their site how the partnership is actually structured) but the important news is that JKRB is scheduled to release the 1.3.2 update on August 1.
They are offering a free upgrade to 1.3.2 to anyone who buys the current 1.3.1 version before the release. The current price is 33 Euros ($42 US). The price of the new release will be 49 Euros ($62.40 US)!! 8O
This new price is supposed to take effect on Aug. 1 along with the release.
Sorry, if you are already a current user I don't know what the upgrade policy is. Better contact them through their forum. Dropped a note there this morning but haven't gotten an answer yet.
Perhaps this tie-up with Mindjet will result in seamless PC to PPC transfers, editing and printing of mindmaps...
