A question for ALL VERIZON USERS

is it just my phone, pda phones or verizon service in general seems screwed up with it comes to sms service???? I have had people get a text hours later and sometimes the next day!!! Can everyone share their experieces.

Once or twice my boyfriend's not gotten messages until days later, but that's rare. Usually everything works smoothly. Are you sending to other VZW members?

I have Verizon (quite possibly the worst cell phone provider, but thats another topic for another thread) When I am sending and recieving SMS messages to people that have Verizon they get my messages almost instantaneously. When i send SMS messages to people with another carrier, it takes from 5 to 10 minutes for it to be delivered

Not my experience here in New York. SMSes within VZW typically take less than 5 seconds. Intercarrier SMSes tend to take 30-60 seconds, although they can sometimes take a bit longer. This is with a wide variety of phones.
