I've received a number of questions about how to use the new location based searching in MultiIE 4. So, here is a quick 4 step process:

1. Open IE and enter your search item, eg: Coffee

2. Press the GO button popup and select "use location or GPS"

3. Type a location, or select a saved location, or get your location from a GPS, and press OK

4. The results are displayed and you can view your choices:

I am sorry but it doesn't seem to work for me :(

I followed the tutorial (entered coffee and 4th ave seattle) but when I press OK I go back to my previous page ( the google map doesn't display )

Any advice ? thanks !!

BTW I noticed that the business search on the virtual earth mobile application didn't work neither ... could this be related ?

hey I tried it from home today and it worked beautifully :) ... I'll try it again from work monday ...

nice application, thanks ! :)

by the way I think you should use skweezer on top of google maps html, this would remove some painful scrolling ... more info here : http://forumfrancophone.info/fadof/viewtopic.php?p=796#796
