Hello everyone,
My new O2 xda neo is turning into a lemon,
first I lost my rear speaker and it was suggested
that I do a hard reset and lo and behold it will not.
Can anyone think of a way to force a hard reset?
O2 XDA Neo (also known as the O2 XDA Prophet / i-Mate JAMin / Qtek S200 / Dopod 818 pro)
Thanks, Chance

not sure if u have a setting in the contol panel for hard reset or you could download a software like tweaks2k2 that have a hard reset feature.
good luck.

Or the hardware-based solution is to hold down the camera button and communications manager button simultaneously, insert the stylus tip into the small soft reset hole, release the stylus, and then keep holding the other two buttons until a factory default message appears on screen. When that occurs, release the two buttons and press the green call button.

Hello Darius Wey, Thanks, the hardware solution
worked, I had those instructions in German and
I thought I was doing it right but I wasn't.
The reset did not help the rear speaker problem
but it's important to be able to do a hard reset.
Thanks again.

Did you try Darius' suggestion about the headphone jack? Put it in and take it out quickly a few times and see if the speakers start to work again...

My next step is to Taser the damn thing.
