The kit is attached to your car's speakers so there are a few cables included in the package, as well as a universal muter which connects the device to almost any radio with ISO or other standard jacks. This box actually mutes the sounds of the music player when commencing a new call or when an incoming one occurs..."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/ekkie_phonearena_parrot_3400_review_200607.jpg" /><br /><br />Did he say that there are a "few cables"? Because those cables had me in a blind panic for a moment! Now of course, any car kit solution that provides this level of integration and features is going to be more involved than your average "plug-n-play" solution. I've heard some really nice remarks overall about Parrot car kits. While I don't have a Parrot car kit myself, I did recently buy a car outfitted with the same type of functionality (Bluetooth &amp; GPS), and I can say that these car-integrated solutions are definitely a step up from the traditional BT headset when it comes to phone communications from within my car. I absolutely love it!

i've paired my wizard with a friends parrot car kit and it was pretty good and i've been keeping an eye out for this one but since i'm in the market for a new car now don't know whether m gonna get a vehicle with it integrated, if not then this is definately the unit for me.

The Parrot series is the only carkit I could get working correctly with my Wizard; I tried carkits from Nokia, Motorola and SonyEricsson and none of them worked right, some were so bad I couldn't even pick up a call on them (like the Motorola's).

Installation is a breeze, but what I'd REALLY like in my carkit is an A2DP profile support...

"Blind panic" indeed: Just looking at that pic tells me that's one piece of hardware that will NEVER see the inside of my car...

It is actually VERY easy to install IF your car has ISO connectors on the Radio. I installed it in 2 of my cars; one Mercedes which only took 15 minutes, and one Subaru B9, which took over an hour.

It installs cleanly but does require some basic knowledge of car audio systems.
