Not sure I fully understood the following article by Menneisyys:http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=898&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1.
If I understood correctly, depending on the device, and for WM5 devices, it is good practice to NOT to perform soft reset IMMEDIATELY after installation of a new program? One should either wait for 1 minute (the timed cycle it takes for the (WM5) RAM to update (flush) the Register ROM Memory. Either that, or do a 'Suspend Power' to force memory changes ?
I always impatiently wait for the install process to complete and then pull my PPC off the Sync cable and Soft Reset immediately, for what I thought was good measure! :?
