AS 3.8 on one and AS 4.1 on another?

Work is moving from LNotes to Outlook. I've been syncing happily at home with AS 3.8 & Outlook and using AS 3.8 along with Commontime's mNotes to sync at work. Now with Outlook coming, work will have me install AS 4.1 along with Intellisync Mobile Suite. They're saying this setup helps to avoid duplicates that AS 4.1 can't seem to handle. AS 4.1 will only be syncing files and mobile favorites. I would like to keep AS 3.8 on my home computer to sync wirelessly. I have to use AS 4.1 at work on my laptop. Will it be harmonious to use AS 3.8 at home and AS 4.1 at work? Or are my home wireless syncing days over? :?: :(

I am currently using 3.8 at work and 4.1 at home wthout any problems.

It's opposite to what you have, but there's no reason this setup shouldn't work.

By the way, you should probably ask your workplace if they intend on installing ActiveSync 4.2, since it corrects many bugs present in 4.0 and 4.1.
