Hallo, I have a QTEK 9100 and I would like for it to connect to both my home WLAN (with IP fixed) and to the airports WLAN that are open.

I have configured it in order to connnect to my home WLAN using the office profile and the following network card:
SDIO WLAN Wireless Adapter
and it works 100%.

My question is now how to configure the internet profile in order to make QTEK 9100 connect to the airports open WLAN.

What other network card shall I use? Can I pick one at random or what else?

What the purpose of having several network cards in the device?
Thanks in advance for the help. Daniele

It's not the network adapter that's important - it's the network connection. That is, you can use multiple network connection profiles with each adapter depending on the network you are connecting to. Microsoft actually split the connection manager into two parts, one for the adapter (for wifi that covers the wifi connection settings) and the actual network manager (which configures things like IPs, proxies, dial-up strings etc). In your case, what I would do is set up a blank network connection for use outside the home.

BTW the multiple network 'adapters' are really for things like a serial connection or BT connection.
