Dual Core Processors

Question - is there such a thing as dual core processors in pocket pc's/pcoket pc phone?

I heard that in my unit - Cingular 8125 - there is a dual core processor, which is why it seems to load programs and web pages faster than it probably should for a unit with only a 200 mHz processor.

Is this true?

afaik it isn't dual core like the desktop version of dual core; rather, there is one core dedicated to pda/media/application functioning and one core dedicated to phone use.

"Dual core" isn't really the right phrase--the 8125 has an additional 200 MHz Digital Signal Processor in addition to the main processor. The former handles most of the heavy lifting for the phone features.
