XDA Mini-S Lockup on low memory

Folks - any ideas on how I can avoid having to hard-reset?

Basically, I got the "Storage memory is critically low" dialog box, attempted to delete some emails (WEB IS Flexmail) and my Mini_S locked up.

Whenever I soft-reset, I get the dialog box but the Mini-S won't respond to any stylus clicks or keypresses.

Is there any was to boot the thing in 'safe mode' or somesuch?

Got it! :)

Activesync still connects, even though the XDA Mini is unresponsive, so have been able to clear some storage memory by deleting files.

So there's a tip if anyone else has the same problem then....
