Greetings all:
I tried searching but couldn't come up with narrow enough search terms.
I am looking for an alternative (non MS) to Outlook 2002 that came with my Hx2790. I don't need to sync mail, but need all the rest. I am switching from a Palm M515 and would be happy to find an equivalent to their desktop app. for WM5.
So far, Pocket Informant seems to be the best fit for me on the PPC but to my knowledge there is no desktop equivalent app.
My problem is that my employer dosen't use Outlook and I can't seem to keep Outlook from interfering with mail operations! No suprise there!
We are using GroupWise 6.5 for mail but that won't work with WM5.0 / AS4. I think GW7 client will but I can't wait. As an indicator of how fast our IT department moves, they are still tied to 3270 emulation for our most critical operations! They have been trying to move to a more capable platform for more than 10 years and we really need the capabilities available in newer systems! As I said, I can't wait.
Thanks for any help,
Peter
