Hello everybody,

I have a really strange problem with my FUJITSU SIEMENS POCKET LOOX N560 with Win Mobile 2005.

ActiveSync doesn't start on the PDA any more. If I connect the PDA to my PC, ActiveSync on the PC is searching for a connection. That's it. No connection is established. But the PDA is recognized.

If I connect the PDA of a friend (same model, bought at the same day) to my PC, everything works fine.

So in my opineon ActiveSync on my PDA makes some problems... If I load it manually on the PDA, nothing happens.

Is there a possibility to somehow reset/reinstall ActiveSync on the PDA?

The only way you can "re-install" the Activesync bits on your Pocket PC is to perform a hard reset; that essentially reverts everything back to its factory-fresh state. Of course, that also wipes all of your data and user-installed applications out.

Before you do a hard reset, you might want to try deleting and re-creating the partnership. In a few circumstances, that has cleared problems for me.
