Symbian Implementation of .NET CF

Now the only question that I have is: Will programmers embrace the opportunity, or will it cost too much money for too little of a gain (Given that Symbian OS already has a strong developer community)?

I wonder what they used to implement this? Did they re-implement .NET, use mono/portable.net, or license it from ms?

I seriously doubt the first, so it'd be interesting to find out what was done.. (;

By the way: I'm very happy to see this!! I really like .NET and will be happy to be able to make my own programs to run on my portable phone/pdaphone, when I get one that is.. (;

is there a good JVM for Symbian? I would assume so but I don't know much about that OS.

Nothing. It was great. But they sucked us all in on the promise of free client software, then shortly later changed this to $30 per device i.e. anybody wanting to buy your software would have to pay them $30 for the client software :?
