I have a PPC6600 from sprint, I like it and all. but I want to be able to view flash movies on it (from for ex. youtube). I have down loaded the CAB file from adobe, dont have a clue as to what to do with it. and I downloaded and installed flash player 6 from adobe...doest work. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Visit the Flash Player 7 for Pocket PC page (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/) and download the CAB. Copy it over to your Pocket PC and tap on it in File Explorer to install it.

This isn't a standalone Flash Player. It merely installs the IE Mobile plug-in that allows you to view web-based Flash content. But if I recall correctly, while YouTube will load fine in IE Mobile, the Flash videos themselves don't render properly, because YouTube doesn't detect the version of Flash Player installed. So, it's a bit of a dead end from here.

Yup, unfortunately, YouTube and Google Mobile aren't compatible with version 7 of the plug-in (or any other PPC-based solution). You'll need to convert these files - see my latest article on playing FLV videos (incl. YouTube and Google Mobile) on the Pocket PC:
