Having a Universal with Bluetooth Stereo and Remote Control is excellent - but previously I was stuck with Windows Media Player, which as a music player, should really be taken out and shot.

I emailed both the creators of Pocket Music and Pocket Player, two excellent music players, but without A2DP and AVCRP support.

The Pocket Player people just got back to me, and supplied a DLL file which gives their player full bluetooth stereo support.

I'm happy to report that it works a treat, so fill yer boots!

Hi belfast-biker.
I just got a Motorola HT820 bluetooth headset for my Qtek S200.
It works fine with the phone functions. But I can't listen to my songs with it. The documentation says it needs "A2DP compatible device".
My phone manual does not mention anything about A2DP.

Do you think this prog (Pocket Player) with the dll will make my headset receive music from the phone?

Also, I read in a forum (maybe this one, I'm not sure) that the Qtek has suport for A2DP but it's not implemented (!?). Also heard of "A2DP patches"...

Can anyone explain this to me?
Have I spent money buying a piece of gear (the headset) that is hevier, more expensive and has less features then the suplied corded earbuds that came with my phone?

What I want is a stereo headphone that can play the songs stored on my the divice and also take phone calls...if anyone have a solution for this please share.

Thanks in advance...

Tunico

P.S. belfast-biker...sorry if I drifted the subject of your post a little...It's late here and I'm REALLY mad this is not working!

I can't speak for your Qtek S200 but I've been going through the same process adding A2DP support to my CING 8125/HTC Wizard and it's not as simple as a dll addition. In the process of getting support going I've re-imaged a new ROM to the PDA, added many dlls and added alot of new registry keys.

However it was possible and there's a good chance you can do it with the Qtek too but you may have to hunt down the info about it online. This place has most of the info I needed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/front_page.php
