TREO 700W, NEED HELP!!

I recently purchased a Treo 700w with windows mobile. Is it possiable to sync my Lotus notes email and calandar. Mainly calandar, Verizon Tech support says it will not, because windows mobile only supports outlook. Any advice anyone can give would be of great help.
