View Full Version : Activesync drops partnership??

I have a new PPC 6700. I love the phone, but I am having a problem syncing with two computers. I brought the phone home and set it up without any issues, it syncs fine. The next morning I took it to work & set it up on my laptop with no issues. When I brought it home that night & pluged it in to sync, my computer did not recognize the partnership, and forced me to set it up again. It did it again this morning with the laptop. So now every time I change computers i have to setup the partnership. Has anyone seen this before? If so how do I fix it?

I am also having the same problem. I have the Verizon version of the phone the XV6700. It seems to only be able to handle one partnership at a time. Every time I sync with either the office or my home pc, the other partnership is ignored on the next sync attempt. I have searched this issue on both this site and others to no avail. I can't imagine that we are the only ones having the trouble! Hopefully someone out there has an answer. BTW I have tried using the ActiveSync 4.2 beta and received the same result.

I fixed the problem. I just had to uninstall everything from both computers, and deleted the partnerships on the device. I reinstalled everything & now it seems to work fine!! 8)
