Hello everyone-I've been banging my head against the wall trying to get this to work. Hopefully someone can help before the dent in my head gets too big. . .
I have:
Fujitsu LifeBook running XP w/ service pack 2 and ActiveSync 4.1.0
Belkin Bluetooth Dongle/Belkin BT software
Dell Axim X51v
I have the Dell and the LifeBook paired just fine, they connect using COM7.
In desktop ActiveSync I have checked the "allow connections from one of the following" and set it to COM 7.
On the device, I go to ActiveSync/Menu/Connect via Bluetooth and I get the popup box that says "Cannot find an existing Bluetooth partnership with a PC that supports ActiveSnc. Would you like to set up a partnership now?"
I say yes and it takes me stratight to the Bluetooth settings box where it shows I already have a partnership with LIFEBOOK.
I'm going around and around in circles here and I'm going nuts. I've searched the web, got some helpful tips from this forum, etc. but no luck at all. Any idea??
